Tobacco Control Online Course
The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is launching a 3-month (Certificate) Distance Learning Courses on Tobacco Control. It is developed in collaboration with the University of Southern California (USC) and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) and tailored to India, these courses are designed for health professionals, legal professionals, administrators, law enforcement officers, journalists and students and are designed to allow professionals to work on their own pace. The course has been developed under the project ‘Strengthening of Tobacco Control Efforts through innovative Partnerships and Strategies (STEPS)’.
The courses, which are being launched on 31st May, 2011 (WNTD) will be offered three times a year:
Batch I: June, 2011 to August, 2011
Batch II: October, 2011 to December, 2011
Batch III: February, 2012 to April, 2012.
The deadline to receive applications for first batch of all the courses is 10th May, 2011.
