Academic Selection of the 29th East Asian Medical Students Conference (EAMSC) Taiwan 2016 is an annual programme organized by Asian Medical Students Association (AMSA Malaysia). With this year’s theme of Medical Care in The Future: When Medical and Technology Meet Humanity, is aimed to elect highly potential medical students with outstanding performances centered in scientific medical research. Of which, they will be able to represent Malaysia in next year’s EAMSC in Taiwan.

The event was held on 28th November 2015 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Participations are from AMSA representatives from universities all over Malaysia for instance Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Univerisiti Putra Malaysia, International Medical University (IMU), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and Monash University. In order to make sure the best of the best is being chosen to represent AMSA Malaysia, we had invited 3 professional specialists to attend the selection as judges, they are Prof Dr Srijit Das (Anatomist), Dr Law Zhe Kang (Neurologist), and Dr Hizlinda Tohid (Family Medicine Specialist). Not to forget, it was our honour that our doctor advisor of AMSA Malaysia, Dr Anizah Ali (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) had attended to officiate the selection.
