The post-AMSC programme was carried out by International Medical University (IMU) on the 10th of October 2015 following the successful AMSC Singapore which was held with the theme, “Geriatric Medicine : Embracing the Silver Tsunami”. The event was attended by 162 students.

Two talks were given on the day. One was “Health Services for Older Person” which was given by Associate Professor Dr Tan Mow Pin who is a Consultant Geriatrician at the Univarsiti Malaya Medical Centre. The next talk was given by Dr Elizabeth Chong, Geriatrician at the Hospital Kuala Lumpur on “Ageing Successfully”.

Next, the UPM team who won the first runner up at the scientific paper competition at AMSC Singapore presented their paper entitled “Female Sexual Dysfunction among Elderly Women in Malaysia”.

The event was wrapped up after a roundtable discussion, AMSA-UPM Diabetes Day announcement and certificate distribution.
